Winner of the famous Donatella Flick conducting competition (London 2002), Christophe Mangou was awarded a two-year contract as assistant conductor at the London Symphony Orchestra. He was thus brought to work with the main conductor of this prestigious orchestra, Sir Colin Davis, and guest conductors such as Bernard Haitink, Emmanuel Krivine, Mariss Jansons, Michael Tilson Thomas, Antonio Pappano, Sir John Eliot Gardiner…

From Septembre 2012, Christophe Mangou becomes associate conductor of the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, in charge of pedagogical project.

Christophe Mangou also invests heavily in educational projects.

With the London Symphony Orchestra, he conducted numerous concerts for children. The project « Take a bow » in London and Salle Pleyel (Paris), involving a hundred strings instruments students of every levels, surrounded by musicians of the orchestra was greeted with great success.

With the Orchestre National d’Ile de France, he created and recorded « La princesse Kofoni » musical story by Marc-Olivier Dupin and Ivan Grinberg, and runs on numerous occasions the opera « Le clavier fantastique » by Graciane Finzi involving more than 200 children on stage.

From september 2012, Christophe Mangou becomes associate conductor of Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, in charge of pedagogical project. During 2012-2013 season, he will conduct around ten concerts. See interview of Christophe Mangou
